New Features
============

- new top level element <SoilAnalysis> for soil analysis.
- WorkProcesses have been remodeled using substitutionGroup and extension 
- Removal of general ID-Elements, because they are semantically not
  properly defined. Use the availabe id-attributes, which provide the
  added value of having the correct datatype, for instance-wide,
  unique identifiers instead.
- for XLinks, the attribute group associationAttributeGroup has been
  replaced by simpleLink. Exception: GML-Module.
- the namespace of the GML elements has been set to 
  "http://www.opengis.net/gml"
- new element <Variety> as a child to <Cultivation>.
- refactoring allowing removal of several occurences of MeasureType.
- smaller improvements.
- additions to the annotations.

Profiles
========

- The existing profiles have been adapted to the new version.

General Remarks
===============

The content model of an instance is not influenced by the recently
added usage of extensions and substitutionGroups in the schema. However, 
there have been a few other changes, leading to the respective parts not
being backwards compatible with version 1.3.
